Our Foundation
Our Story Begins in 1996, when our founder Eng Hashem Abdelsalam graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, specializing in Ornamental Plants and Floriculture.
Shortly after graduation, he established his own ornamental farm and began working as a Landscape Engineer with major real estate developers, shaping residential compounds, villas, and large-scale green environments.
His technical expertise and deep-rooted horticultural knowledge laid the foundation for the company’s professional approach and high-quality standards.
For nearly three decades, GreenMist has been synonymous with expertise, precision, and integrity in landscaping and plant cultivation.
A Turning Point – 2021
In 2021, GreenMist was formally established as a registered company, marking a significant structural evolution.
That same year, the second generation
Eng Marwan Hashem joined the leadership, bringing strategic expansion, operational structuring, and business development. The company strengthened its corporate presence, expanded partnerships, and elevated its market positioning.

Expanding Beyond Landscaping (Plant Delivery)
One of our biggest milestones was launching our online plant delivery service at 2021.
What started as an ambitious idea quickly became a success. GreenMist became one of the leading online plant suppliers in Alexandria, known for healthy plants, premium quality, professional packaging, and fast delivery.
With the opening of our Giza branch in 2025, we expanded our operations to serve Alexandria, Cairo, and Giza — bringing our expertise to a wider audience.

Hashem Abdelsalam – Founder
Landscape Engineer specialized in Ornamental Plants since 1996. Established GreenMist on strong agricultural knowledge, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in large-scale landscaping projects.
Marawan Hashem – Managing Director
Oversees operational management, expansion, and the online plant delivery division. Responsible for project execution, and ensuring professional standards across all services.
